Plate
The table plate is crafted entirely from solid wood, either oak or walnut (American or Wild American). A distinctive technical feature of this table is the absence of aprons. Steel stiffeners are located at the bottom of the solid wood plate. These serve to prevent minor dimensional changes in the wooden components over time, which can result from hygroscopy (seasonal fluctuations in humidity that might cause the wood to expand or contract).
Legs
The legs, which are demountable, are made from either solid oak or European walnut.
Finish
Two plant-based Hardwax oil finishes are available, which maintain the wood’s natural appearance. These colors are white and natural oil for the solid oak variant. For the walnut version, only the natural oil finish is available.
